This is a refreshingly independent group on BAG. AoA involvement will pretty quickly put an end to any discussion not officially sanctioned by AoA (either directly or through intimidation). I am already a QC member and that is exactly how QC feels to me. Where did you hear AoA is involved with the Quattro Club? Not only have I never heard that, I've never even heard the allegation before... Does anyone know for sure? AFAIK, AoA has absolutely nothing to do with QCUSA.

...I don't think they are affiliated. Besides, AOA doesn't have the time nor the resources to do something like this. And if they did, I think they should pull out of this and work on customer service and Dealership satisfaction. AFAIK, AoA has absolutely nothing to do with QCUSA.

I like the smaller community we have going. Although I wouldn't call it small. If you think about it for dyno day we had visitors from jersey and all the "regulars" wern't even there, the turnout was hugh. I like the way it is but it really depends on What the real upside of it is for mike. My 2 cents

I need only a couple beers before I can give a knee-jerk reaction. Vote for me. ;D ...pros and cons before I could form a worthy opinion. 8)

At this moment, I'd have to vote no. Why?
1) BAG is BAG because it is free. That is what makes us an informal group of enthusiasts who hang out & have GTGs & BBQs & garage days & what. When we begin charging a membership fee, all of that goes out the door.
2) What does the Quattro Club do? They do track days. There are no tracks in MA.
3) After seeing the turnout at the Framingham GTG and the dyno day, it seems pretty clear to me that there is no need for a formal organizational structure - we get darn good turnout already, and that's with no fees, too.
4) I have $1.33 in my bank account. Free is good.
5,6,7,8) Things I can't think of at the moment. Finals have fried what used to be my brain.

Me? Soft? Hellz no! I just expect [at least] a couple as compensation for my time. Coming up with knee-jerk reactions isn't as easy as it looks, ya know. ;D I was at the dyno day for a couple hours. Mostly I've been busy with school. I have one class and two finals left, then I'm done for the year. At that point I can join in all of the BAG festivities - assuming a find a job [HINT HINT to anyone reading this ] ...no one's seen ya in ages? Only a couple of beers? You gettin' soft on us?

Any time you're in The Ham, just give me a buzz, we'll get you some real food. And I know you like Guinness so that's very doable too. Just tell him how many 6-packs you want. Poor college student. 4) I have $1.33 in my bank account. Free is good.

I'll be in The 'Born tuesday night (and for the rest of the summer). Once I get home money shouldn't be too much of an issue since my only expense will be gas. Oh, remember the currency I used to purchase the G-Tech? There's lots more where that came from. 50 to 75 cents every school day from 1st grade through 12th. + there's my bday coming up on the 7th. 376 days until I can legally drink in public! Woohoo! Any time you're in The Ham, just give me a buzz, we'll get you some real food. And I know you like Guinness so that's very doable too. Just tell him how many 6-packs you want. Poor college student.

I know I'm new here and I haven't met anyone in person yet, but I think we should stay our own separate group. This is by far the best Audi community I have found and like Mirror said, It's FREE. I am also a poor college student, so anything for free is a plus.

The count is already down to 375 days. At this rate, I bet it will be down to only 374 days tomorrow! 8) The thing is, I have a real state-issued MA driver's license that, if you were to go by the Lic#, would say I'm 23 even though the face says I won't be 21 for another year. Of course, if they ran the #, it'd also say I'm 6'2" 240lbs. I'm actually more like 260. ...you're not even friggin' legal. ;D

AFAIK, AoA has absolutely nothing to do with QCUSA. That is the party line. However, try talking about chipping on the QC board, or in the (whatever they are calling it now) QC magazine. Read the "test drive" articles and discover where they are getting those cars, then read the "interviews" over the last couple years - like the one on Hunt. If you dont feel the AoA hand on things, I have a bridge I want to sell you.

260?! More like 260 DIVIDED by 2 = 130. ;D You crack me up Jeff! ;D Of course, if they ran the #, it'd also say I'm 6'2" 240lbs. I'm actually more like 260.
