Anyone know a good place in the Boston area to pick up an SA helmet? I live in Quincy, so somewhere near the South Shore would be best.
Also, any recomendations on brands, styles, etc?
Thanks!

NO!!!![/color] Subie Sports with F*CK you if they get the chance....it's a long story - filled with incompetence, poor communication, and ill feelings. I suggest www.hmsmotorsport.com/they are in Peabody, MA, but UPS ground will take 1-2 days. they had a great price on my Bell M2 SA-2000 that I use for AutoX and tracks.....And F1 did you know if you bring your own helmet to F1 Boston, you don't need to wear a head sock?

Thanks for the replies....I wanted some place local, so I could try one on before buying. Peabody isn't too far though.
What do you guys think of F1? I live sorta across the street from it on Willard St, but never marched my ass over there.

F1 is AWESOME....I can't say enough about it.
And if you want to try out my helmet...give me a call. We can meet up. I work in Newton, live in Medway (near Franklin&Framingham)

When I looked a year ago I could not find a single local place that carried SA2000 helmets in stock. I was even referred to a place in Quincy by someone on AW - they seemed to say yes on the phone but when I arrived they turned out to be a motorcycle shop and didnt even know what SA2000 stood for. I ordered an M2 Bell from www.racerwholesale.com and they were great but it looks like their selection has gone way down. By the way, I found I needed a size larger than the measured size...

That was the problem that I had too; lack of selection for SA-2000. I think there was a transition, since SA-2000 was mandated by most Racing groups as of July 2001
BTW, racerswarehouse had a great deal on a helmet bag for 9.99 plus shiping....I'm glad I bought it.
