I was driving Rte 2 East near Leominster this afternoon and I saw the funniest thing... a Toyota Tercel with a fake BMW E46 front end, a BMW "M3" badge on the back and a BMW roundel on the front and back. I had my digital camera with me but the pics turned out poorly because I was laughing too hard when I took the pictures. www.audizine.com/uploads/imagepath.asp?id=2374&A=p[/img] www.audizine.com/uploads/imagepath.asp?id=2373&A=p[/img] He came right up on my a$$ and flashed me a bunch of times to move over (I was doing 80 or so at the time and I was passing a bunch of others). I moved over eventually, snapped the pictures and then pulled up beside him and let him see my laughter. I think he was offended because he tried to speed away but he clearly ran out of money before he did any engine mods. B

I saw a Civic with Z3 quarter panels today. ::sigh:: I really thought it was a BMW, too, right until he told me that it was actually just a ricemobile. ;D

Different strokes for different folks. I like the fact guys like their cars enough to invest the time and $ into fixing them up to their liking, but WTF, taking badges from a different manufacturer and slapping them on?

e...about 4 months ago, I raced a Ferrari 328GTS. The Driver asked if I wanted to trade badges with him because I handed him his @ss! ;D ...but WTF, taking badges from a different manufacturer and slapping them on?

Madman, you could collect them and get a big ass silver chain and wear them around your neck. ;D
How do you find all these guys to race. There just must be something about you that makes them want to give you a shot. I'm lucky to find a 17 year old out in his mom's V6 accord.

And it's not fun unless it's a challenge...
What I like doing is coming up really fast behind cars that I could never catch in the A4 while they're taking the entrance/exit ramps from the highways or while they're taking twisty sections. I was behind a Camaro the other day that could easily smoke me in a straight line but he was slowing me up in the curves. Every time we hit the straights smoke would come out of his exhaust as he floored it and left me in the dust but I'd be back on his a$$ in the curves following him, watching his tailights flicker as he got scared.

I'd probably add 50 hp to the A4 if I slapped Aston Martin badges on it. hahaha That way EVERYONE would be afraid to challenging me! LOL B

The only people who want to race me are idiots in those silly 2wd cars, in the rain. No one EVER wants to race me in the dry, it only happens in the rain. What's up with that?

...mid day and I live right by Framingham Ford and Dodge so I get into lots of races with Mustangs, SVT Lightnings and an occasional Viper. Also, I'm on Route 9 in Natick by Shopper's World just about every day so I get lots of action there. <br> It's fun! ;D So far, I've only been beat by two Porsche 911 Turbos and 6 Vipers. I did beat one Viper to 90 but he spun his wheels way to hard and lost. But I'm sure by 100-110, he woulda had me. And I've actually beaten all these cars 0 to 30! My poor clutch. I actually do well against any car up to 60ish. But once I shift into 3rd gear, those Turbos and Vipers start to pull. And by 4th gear, I can barely read their license plates. Oh well, it is what it is. ;D My latest (worthy) kill was an E46 M3 convertible...three days ago...I had 100 Race Fuel and was running well. Was going north on the 495 near Franklin and there's a smurf blue E46 M3 Convertible with two people in the slow lane cruising at 60-65. I drop into 3rd, pull up even and motion with my hand "let's go". I give the M3 the jump and proceeded to beat it by 6-8 cars from 65-120ish. It was my best kill on an M3 by far. Yeah, it was a convertible, heavier and slower but still was fun. ;D I'm sure they'll remember my "Silver Accord". ;D How do you find all these guys to race.

S4MadMan you always have some story for us with the slow cars. I don't remember to beat someone except Passat 4motion, But when comes to curves I don't think I can be beat easy. Even with my FWD my car is enough stable in the curves. ...mid day and I live right by Framingham Ford and Dodge so I get into lots of races with Mustangs, SVT Lightnings and an occasional Viper.
