Thanks! There are many Abt fans here it seems The Abt chip is nuts. Good nuts. I love it. Do the exhaust first tho (I went with Milltek from Stratmosphere, they are great over there). I honestly DID notice a difference midband with the exhaust (no chip). Just enough to make you think "Hmmm, that is a little better". Wagner said they would have NO problem with me putting on an exhaust, but check with your guys first.

...this is my stance, everyone sees and hears differently. With that said, no one can tell you how to see correctly because what is correct for one could be incorrect for another. So, the best way to aim your lights is to DIY! Just go out at night and adjust your lights to your optimal setting. Then run out about 200'-300' and check to see if you are blinding oncoming traffic. It is usually the case so you adjust the light downward accordingly until you find the best combination of illumination while not blinding the oncoming traffic. On my Escalade, I use to run upgrade wiring harnesses and 100W 9006 Super White Plasma Bulbs as well as 100W Fogs and an extra set of 85W Catz MSX auxiliary fogs. This combination was much brighter than my current S4 set-up with HIDs. These lights were extremely bright but I never got hi-beamed or pulled over. Why? Because I aimed the lights correctly, not shining them at the oncoming traffic. That's my $0.02. 8)

I agree with Dan. Even during the setup, a minor mis-adjustment will make a difference. At least we have those manual post-installation adjusters.
Those Escalade bulbs didn't blind traffic, but darn it dude, I'm blind just from looking at the pic for longer then 2 seconds...j/k!
The other topic, kind of sandwiched in here was the chip. Abt is definitely a favorite, it seems on this forum, but good thing is that we don't hate the other chips either. We only like Abt, because it stands for Another Boston Tradition, like taxes!
