Use any type of fuel / engine cleaner?
I try very very hard to always make it to a Sunoco and use 93 octane. Rarely do I use 94. For the 1 level difference I don't think its worth it.
Also do any of you use those fuel injector cleaners? Good / bad??
I used one once that came in a gold bottle, not sure the brand but would know it if I saw it. I think maybe it was Valvoline.

...using Sunoco 94 for about 2,000 miles and then switched to Mobil 93 and found no difference. Actually, I think may be Mobill 93 is better. It's hard to differentiate.
Anyway, I go with Mobil 93 and that's about it.

I used Mobil or Shell 93 for about 1 year. Then decided to do the combination of 93 (Mobil/Shell) as well as Sunoco 94 every now and then.
Like S4WiseMan/S4SnowMan/S4Madman I found no noticeable change. I am going back to 93 octane, and save myself at least 20 cents a gallon!
PS: I don't use any additives with my gas, such as the cleaners you speak of.

So, lately I've noticed that my car seems a bit sluggish or just plain engine constricted.
In thinking that it may have been something to do with the 0W-40Mobil1 the dealer had put in, decided to change the oil with 0W-40Mobil1 I provided. Car seemed the same. It only happens sometimes.
Decided that maybe it has to do with Winter tires, since it's only feels that way since I changed them, but still does not offer any help as to why it only happens sometimes.
Decided to use Mobil 93 Octane for a while. No more Sunoco, or other gas stations. It seems that my car favors Mobil gas. Anyone has noticed the same?

The most important factor about gas outside of it's octane rating, is how frequently it gets refreshed. This is especially important in the winter, where water forms in the gas tanks and dilutes the octane. So if you buy Mobil 93 which gets 100 cars/day vs Sunoco 94 which gets 10, you actualy end up with a higher octane rating from the Mobil and less water in your gas tank.
As for injector cleaners, I haven't used them in ages, but they're probably a good idea for cars w/ 3+ years on them. I forget the ingredient you need to look for, but the one advertised on TV has it (ProLong I think). It's a bit more expensive, but worked well for me when I had the Camaro.

My car likes sunoco 93. Thats what I get for her. I usually only goto two gas stations.
I try to get my gas from the same place as much as possible.

...and my car now seems to be less moody. I always get the power I expect, once I press down the pedal.

I typically run either Gulf 93 or Mobil 93. The Gulf is always purchased at an excellent local service/dealer. I have heard complaints about Gulf but I am guessing it might have come from purchases at those convinence stores that have Gulf signs but may be selling anything. Both brands work well for me. I notice no performance problems winter or summer with either. I suspect I may get a tad higher fuel mileage with Mobil but I cant document that. I think the product/additive name you are looking for is Techron. It is indeed an effective injector cleaner. The NA BMW club tested various fuel additives some years ago and found Techron was effective, and at the time it the only one that was. You may find some dealers will add it during routine service. Clair added it to mine at the 10k and 20k service and the Subaru dealer used to add it (for a price) at about the same intervals.

I can find any difference btw Sunoco 94 and Mobil 93 that's why i stop to use Sunoco.
But Since i am in MA i can see big performance and mileges difference from CA where the high octane fuel is 91 except race one.
Usualy i had max 200miles with one tank in CA Here sometime i can hit 300miles with one tank...
