At the moment I'm missing two essential parts for getting my MP3 player working: a power supply and a hard drive. I have both of these at home - home is <3 miles from Rey, so I'll just wait until Saturday and we can get the thing together from scratch. Basically, it'll need a hard drive, floppy, and CDROM plugged in (~5-10minutes) and then we get to work on the software. I have two or three partially wired LCDs, but they refuse to work right. I must have wired them wrong, so we can check that and resolder. After that it should be ready to go. I will only need to figure out where in the car to put it.
The software is easier said than done. I'll collect the various software goodies I'll need and then burn them & bring them. There are FAQs and how-tos for all of this, so it should be simple. It just never is.

I'll need a monitor of some sort. It doesn't need to be anything good, we just need something to view the terminal on.

Man you guys are gonna hate seeing a virgin S4. I have lots of questions.
I have a monitor. Let me know what else might be needed. If we plan on lifting up any cars I do NOT have a floor jack.

Kirath - I just installed my brace. You won't need any help with it, it's a joke to do. You literally just undo two bolts and then put them back in. If it wasn't so easy I would have waited until Saturday, but it was taking up space in my room so I did it tonight. Now I just need shocks and a swaybar and I'll be done with my suspension (for now). --Jeff Bring the brace, I want to install one myslef, so If I get to watch first make it easier for me And what do you need to get working.. I have a nice floor jack as well as 2 jack stands! I can bring those with me just in case we need to lift up any cars. I think I still have some good directions on how to put together an MP3 player for the car. I'll bring that along to complement what you already have as far as "how-to" information.
11AM sounds good. Thanks for the address as well as directions.
What about tunes? Who's got a radio so we can have some music too? It does not have to be loud, but some background non-elevator music should be good!

Does no one actualy READ the Boston Audi website anymore? We do have lots of useful on there you know For example, a fully detailed fog light mod can be found at: www.bostonaudi.org/projects/fogs/Pictures & all. Word of warning: be damn careful when doing the soldering. I know of 2 people that have fried their wiring by screwing something up.

Oh, and BTW, 11am? Does no one like to sleep around here? Sheesh, I'd think some of the college kids would be screaming bloody murder at this.

Well, I figure my MP3 player will take 5hrs start to finish. 40mins to get back to school. 4hrs of hwork once back, 1hr for fooding, and it's already almost 10 oclock. I have to get up at 5am Sunday to head north for the rallycross. I hate getting up early, but for two things I always make exceptions (snowboarding and car stuff). --Jeff Oh, and BTW, 11am?
