...your services. I want to purchase an Infinity BassLink and have it installed but would rather have one of my S4 Brothers do the work and pay him . <br> If you are ready, willing and able, please e-mail how much and when you could do it. Experts please. I don't want you to be "testing" my S4. DOH!!! ;D

I assume you are referring to the JL Audio Stealth Box...
How much and who to install?

Yup yup, that's what I have. I think it retails for $600-700, but I saw a few people on the board selling them. I installed it myself in about 4 hours and then had a shop hook up my amp & tap the line levels on the stock one for another 2 hours of work. I'm sure most any custom audio shop could do the install as it can be a bit of a PIA. Check the Projects section of the website to see my FAQ on the install.

Installing stereo stuff is easy enough, its just figuring how to take the car apart that time consuming.. But on the Audis I have discovered it to be quite easy..
I could consider doing it.. I made the mistake of getting my stuff done by somone else, tweeter, and they almost caused my car to catch fire, needless to say I basicaly went over the entire install, ended up costing me money and time.. Should had just done it myself, lesson learned...

If I am not mistaken, Kirath has offered his services. If I knew anything about stereo installation I would help you. Too bad my brother-in-law does not live in MA. He would do a super job on your car! He knows stereo equipment very well.
I bought a car MP3 player from England. I went to Richie's Car Tunes in Watertown to look at what they would suggest I do for installation, and have them do the final install. I have to say that I was not that impressed with their suggestions. As such, I gave up on the whole stereo installation for now. I am willing to dish out some dough, but I want a place to work with me. I want something kick a$$, and I am willing to pay, but need personalized service!
Althought they had come highly recommended, my first impression was not good at all!

...www.autostereoplace.com in Framingham that is supposed to do first-rate work. They are an authorized ADS installer.
But I also heard they charge a premium.
Just FYI.

I wish we had a screen in the center console like I've seen in the RS4. Someone should come up with an upgrade of that nature, including an MP3 reader... geeze..

Goto Custom Auto Radio in Saugus, they are a JL Audio Dealer and do Top Notch work, they are the ones that built my baffle plate and did my whole install. Speak to Chris/Jamie and tell him I sent you down there. They will take care of you.
