For those who go to Clair, if this concerns you you can just ask for 0W-40. They stock it for the Benzes.
You pay the price difference b/w dino oil and synthetic, same as with the 0W-30.

Anyone else out there? How many cases will you commit to? I'll take 3.
Walter? Anyone else?

I just made an assumprion that we were talking about Amsoil as a GB, but rereading the initial post I realized you were open to a Mobil 1 0W40, a Redline, or Amsoil.
My response regarded the Amsoil product. I guess I am also game for the Mobil 1 0W-40 if the price is compelling but my trust in them had dropped a lot, whereas Amsoil has always been dependable. I am not interested in Redline - I have history with Amsoil and it has been good - I just dont feel like experimenting.

I am in for whatever people are getting too. 2 cases for me. 0-4- or 0-30...whatever turbo people are getting. Thanks Matt.

I think this issue is getting blown way out of proportion.
I don't think that the other oils are that bad that would cause this type of mass hysteria. If you don't like the other oils as much, or you think that they aren't as good (for some reason or another), then just simply do your oil changes slightly more often. Go back to a 3K-5K interval, and you should be fine.
