I am DYNOing my car on Saturday, it is the first time I have ever dynoed a car of mine. Should I do anything special (ie gast, etc)?
Just wondering.....
See you all on Saturday.

...do two passes. One in 3rd gear and the other in 2nd. I expect you to get 240-250 on the dyno. This will translate into 320-333hp at the crank assuming a 25% loss. Adrenalin was saying 30%-45%, 35% and up is way too high. I will be there at 6:30ish. Good luck! [ ]

So there is nothing that I should do pre-dyno? BTW, dinner afterward anyone? ...do two passes. One in 3rd gear and the other in 2nd. I expect you to get 240-250 on the dyno. ...warm up your Beast! Depending on when you are scheduled to dyno, 15 minutes before hand, drive around and get warm, >175. Then go back, and ideally go onto the dyno. If not, idle and have your hood up. So there is nothing that I should do pre-dyno? BTW, dinner afterward anyone?

Zev has invited us to get a happy hour going. I think he's buying first round as long as he doesn't find out about it until we can overpower him and grab his credit card. Who's up for HH? Any ideas where? I was thinking Watch City brewery in Waltham, or somewhere in Burlington. Don't want to go into Boston due to parking and don't want to drive too far from Adrenalin.

My A4 (stock) had a 30.6% loss when I dyno'd it in November. It was a 3rd gear pull. Should be pretty similar loss to you S4 guys, maybe even a shade lower because of my smaller wheels. ...do two passes. One in 3rd gear and the other in 2nd. I expect you to get 240-250 on the dyno. ...did you calculate 30.6% loss so accurately? This inquiring mind would like to know. Thanks! My A4 (stock) had a 30.6% loss when I dyno'd it in November. It was a 3rd gear pull. Should be pretty similar loss to you S4 guys, maybe even a shade lower because of my smaller wheels.

(150-104.1)/150 [If you couldn't tell], my peak HP to the ground was 104.1. ...did you calculate 30.6% loss so accurately? This inquiring mind would like to know. Thanks!

Ben if I would just put in the normal gas you put in and run the car like you normaly would.. Keeping it warm is also important.. I will not be able to make happy hour that night, I have to go out to dinner with my girl and leave at 6:00 am the next morning for Philly..

...please give me some formulas/calculations. I just used a 25% loss but if you think 30% is more accurate for the Adrenalin Dyno...cool! ;D (150-104.1)/150 [If you couldn't tell], my peak HP to the ground was 104.1.
