That sucks, really sorry to see that... Whats the status though. With the insurance company, the police, and that headcase of a girl.. If your on some psyco drugs where your not responsible for what you do, then why the fu ck is she allowed to drive. I would have called the freakin state police down there.. Im really sorry it happend, it might be in your interests to call a lawyer.

Really sorry to hear of your misfortune. I am always extra careful on party nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday).
If you need a good place to fix it, call Edwin at Invisible Touch. They are in Chestnut Hill, very close to Route 9, and they are about 2 blocks away from a subway stop on the Green D Line. 617.731.9116

Oh man that sucks! Glad you're ok, but I think you're about to get fucked by the system. I suggest that you and your gf develop some severe back pain with the help of a doctor friend. After all, there's no police report saying she wasn't involved, right?
What the officer told you is bullshit, complete bullshit. What he told you is that alcohol is the only substance that makes it illegal for you to drive. That, obviously, is wrong. If her BAC was above .08, or whatever the limit currently is, she is DUI, regardless of what medication she was on. Also, operating a vehicle when you are not in good enough condition to do so is illegal regardless of the cause of your condition.
I believe that the issue with the report is bullshit as well, but this I do not know for sure. I'd recommend that you call up or stop by a police department *in another locality* and ask what the law regarding that is.
She clearly is somebody's daughter. How far into this are you planning on going? Hire a lawyer and go after those involved for not only turning a blind eye, but by clearly violating your rights (and the law) in the process?
I wish you much luck in the process. Hopefully the scum will pay.
