I just got my winter tires delivered today and need to have them mounted and balanced on the stock rims. Any recommendations as to where I should get this done? Also, how much should I expect to pay for this service? Live in Boston, work in Concord...

Including sears.. I am taking mine to Expert Tire, they have always done me right, plus I can stand there and watch them do it..
But for each wheel, with disposal of your old tire ( if your doing that) is about $15 a wheel. That includes balance.
My suggestion is call around, see what you get for prices, thats what I did..

What kind of tires did you go with and what size? Did you order them from Tirerack?
BTW, please let us know where you end up getting them mounted.

Well, to answer your questions, I ended up getting Blizzak LM-22's from TireRack and had them mounted at Sears. They charged $8 for the mounting and another $13 to balance them, but the balance is a lifetime balance, so whenever I switch back from summer to winter tires next year, the balancing will be free. Unfortunately, two days after my tires were installed, this happened: forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/607926.phtml
