No seriously. Examples:
1) Stealthbox in S4 - electric saw broke so had to cut lining with garden sheers. 15 minute job turned into 2 hours and required the amp to be installed the following day.
2) Boost guage - to run the signal line inside the car, needed to open ECU box. Fifth screw impossible to reach, so have to go out and buy new tools. Can't. 10pm so all stores closed. 1 hour job, now going into day 2.
3) Speaker install - TODAY! 30 minute job per side, will now take at least half of tomorrow. Stupid baskets & mounting rings do not match stock speakers, so now I have to make my own mounts. The black ring should be touching the bottom of the table. Unfortuantely, it's suspended on the speaker about 1/2" away
Is this Murphy's law in effect??? Anyone else care to share a story of similar misfortune?

...I rarely do any installs myself and take it to a pro and pay them money. That way, if they screw it up, I can yell at them instead of myself. ;D

Well, my required a bit more "custom" modification then just cutting the existing adaptor. After this job is done, I'll be a pro at stereo installs and will be able to take all of Dan's hard (?) earned money

17" x 7.0" ET 40mm, will need 5mm spacers in the front to clear the S4 brake calipers. Comes with Nitto NT450 225/45ZR17 tires in good condition. Wheels are all like new except on with a few very minor blemish marks. They look great! if you still have those 17's let me know! they're 17x8 right?

Dan,
Where do you keep all of this extra merchandise after you upgrade? If it is all in one place, we could have a MadMan S4 parts yard sale GTG!
Just an idea...
