I would like to thank Mike and the crew for the fog light mod directions. Those were the ones I used with my friend to get it done. They were easy to follow, and it only took us something like 30 minutes to do. It was pain in the booty to put the light unit back in the socket, but we worked it! We were careful with the soldering portion of the mod. We figured we wanted to minimize the post-mod problems syndrome.
As far as sleep goes, I am not sure what Mike is referring to. With daylight savings time, I just enjoy as much of the day as possible. After all, nightfall is here around 4PM, and all I do at night is nightclubbin' and sleep. My point being: you don't have to make it there by 11AM. Most likely we'll be there for a good part of lunch and the afternoon as well. Just drop by, even for 30 minutes to say "hello" and show off your mods!

Bah, that's why you have flood lighting in your garage. My latest project, the Honda stereo, was primarily completed past dusk in my garage with 3 light bulbs (not exactly flood lighting, or much of a lighting at all, but it was enough to get the job done) and a flashlight. Anyway, I may try to drop by although Freakinham is out of my way. Depends how much daylight is left when I wake up

So what exactly is this miracle car which I will only see the tail lights of? Or do you speak of the fabeled G2 supercharger that you're planning to get for your girly car? I'm just kidding - everyone knows the real girly cars are those AMS chipped ones w/ Volk rims

Don't use all your ammo here guys/gals(when available)! Leave some for Saturday. After all, it should be fine to see you all crackin' at each other.
His everyone bringing their Audi's? Or is Mike bringing the S2K and Carmen bringing that "ultra-cool" rig he had last time? Is Carmen even making a cameo appearance?
Well, we'll all find out soon enough. Saturday is only a few hours away.

I've been meaning to get my Oettinger metal pedals installed.
I'll bring them with me, but I was wondering if anyone has the following: 1) metal bit for drilling; better if it can do it at 90 degree angle 2) small saw that can cut metal
My car is a Tip. The pedals are for the 6-Speed! I want to cut-off some of the medal from the brake pedal to fit only one of the fittings in it. I am getting my car cleaned on Tuesday, full workout baby, and wanted it installed prior to then. I have a drill, and I can go to a hardware store to get the rest of the stuff I need, but wondering if anyone had these.
The installation includes dead pedal! Any help would be great.

Madman,
Bring the P-C drill bits. I've got some but they're a little dull for drilling metal. Bummer I used to have a drill press too. I've got a small one still that may do the job though. As far a saw to cut metal - what thickness we talking about? I've got hack saws and stuff like that and grinding wheels but nothing heavy duty.

On a Tip, the brake pedal is twice the width of a normal 6-speed brake pedal. The tickness, is still the 1/4" give or take. I need to shave off some of the extra width. The hack saw may give out sparks, and I think that would be bad! There is a lot of plastic, leather, and other items that could catch fire. I can try to get some type of regular/manual saw that could do the work. The only hard part is the angle we have to work at. Sawing off the 1/4" thickness may not be too bad!

S4Madman: There are plenty of takers except you're always unavailable. "My parents are in twon" "I have class" "I'm having open heart surgery" blah blah blah excuses excuses. Besides, my Honda could spank your AMShit so why should I even bother to bring out the big guns? Kirath: 911? Better be a turbo. I've layed down some hurt on 996s before Nene: If you decide it's too much work after all, I'll gladly take the Oetinger pedal set off your hands Also, I have to use all my ammo as I'm probably not going to be able to make it. I'm also going to be Internet-less 'till Saturday so I have to get all my shots in now before all the backstabbing begins Guys - have fun at the bbq. I'll try to make it, but doesn't look too good as of now. I'm going to be w/out Inet access from now until Sat so any messages sent to the general mailing list will not go through before then. If you need me, you can always call my cell.
