Damn....I really want to go. I thought this going away party would be my first time to meet you all.   I have yet to meet any of you guys!  But that happens to be the weekend of my B-day. (5th)
And my gf. is taking me out to NYC that weekend.

So I guess unless the date is changed for some reason, I won't be able to go.  Why does crap like this always happen to me!?

I'm clearing the calendar right now.  I've been looking forward to one of these GTG.  It's too bad it has to be one of these "hi nice to meet you, see you later, safe travels" things but something tells me we haven't seen the last of this Kirath character.

All kidding aside about the beer, please post some things that we can bring (meat for the grill, soft drinks, desert, more beer?).  Going to a party without bringing something is kinda like going to the prom without a date. know what I mean?

Sorry, but I don't know what you mean, since I was the "date"!
I couldn't resist man...but in all honesty, I agree.  I was going to bring something anyway, but if we divide some of the burden, at least we know that we'll have different things available to all, instead of everyone just bringing beer, because they figured the other person will bring something else!
