As most of you know, I try to go out of my way to accomodate as many people as possible, so that we have the largest showing at our gatherings as possible. Between this board, weather and holidays, this is sometimes difficult. Therefore, I'd like to propose the following solution: Meet 1 - Saturday, Jan 12 Time: 12:30 pm Location: TBD, but Starbucks ALWAYS sounds good (me, addicted to caffeine? NAH!!! Ugly rumors 'tis all). Meet 2 - Sunday, Jan 27th Time: 1pm meet, 2pm eat (weather permitting) Location: Fudd's on Rt. 1 I've received a number of e-mails and other verbal complaints about doing things next weekend as it's MLK day, and some people have it off and are traveling. To those lucky bastards, I say "up yours." Anyway, due to possible schedule conflicts, I'd like to make it the 27th. This may also give Ira enough time to fix my car, although I highly doubt those morons can even spell the word (and I'll gladly tell this story on the 12th ) Thoughts? Suggestions? Praises and lavish gifts?

Who the hell is complaining? I better not hear any complaining!!
Who the hell has MLK off?? Well I guess some people do.. Well you do if your not working...
At any rate thats cool by me. My ass is gonna be up on Killington this weekend so I won't be around. But the weekend of the 27th, sure, I should be able. If all goes well. My schedule changes minute by minute...
But you all have fun this weekend. ! ;D

As noted in the other thread, I'm definitely up for this Saturday (12 January). I was talking to Mike off line and we think we should do Fudd's on Rt. 114 in North Andover. It shouldn't be far for most of you, right? OK, maybe it would be. So, I personally am available from about 11:30-2:30 so I would be up for lunch instead of just coffee (especially since I don't like coffee). My choices (in preference order): 1) On the Border in Woburn (off of Washington Street exit of Rt. 128. 2) Fudd's on Rt. 1 in Saugus. I'll do Starbuck's if the majority of the attendees want to go there. They must have something other than coffee!?!??! Anyway, the most important part is just meeting some of you. -Jim

Either day looks fine for me....for now. So let's just figure out where. No matter what the case, it's gonna be a little hike for me..coming from RI and all...but what the heck.

Here's the deal with me ...
January 27th: I'm definitely showing up to that. Count me in.
January 12th: I may have slight scheduling conflict, since I promised the GF that we'd do Saturday brunch at some joint in the South End (Boston), which opens between 12PM & 3PM. I can't get out of this one...which I've tried already. We've settled on getting there early, as soon as they open, but I probably won't be available until 2PM the latest. So, if the meet gets pushed back a bit, or it lasts that long, then I can come and join the tail end of it, and meet a few fellas. I can show up anywhere!
Now Mike, you mentioned your car being in Ira's shop, and then said that you'd "gladly tell this story on the 9th"! Now is that Feb. 9th? Is it a typo? I want to hear about it, so I need to make sure I'm present.

wears the pants in that family - brunch....... ;D
Sorry friend just had to.
Cannot make the 27th so the 12th would work better. Fudds is a major haul for me but if that's the majority vote I'll go with it.

...I can take it.
We try to share on who wears the pants, but I can honestly say she does most of the time. You didn't have to read between the lines, I'd have told you myself! I guess at least I don't live in denial about it; it makes living together much easier.
