Hey,
Just wondering you opinions on the best area cell service? I have sprint and they have more holes then Swiss cheese, even in downtown. They also drop calls like bombs on Afghanistan. So they go bye bye this month.
I was thinking Verizon. Doing the online surfing thing. Only Problem is I travel up to Sunapee NH area a lot and the new Verizon plans don't cover up there too well. I have to go with the "one rate" plans, not the "all acrros america" plans. The one rates don't appear to have large night/weekend numbers. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Well, there's Touch of Class, Sweet Dreams, Fantasy Escort..... Oh my bad I though you said call service. AT&T was the best I've had for coverage. The Boston Globe did an article a little while ago and I think they were at or near the top. Verizon also seams decent. Stay away from Voicestream, I've got that now. I can do the web thing and that's cool but when you live in Watertown and have to keep your phone near a window to receive service things are just not right .

I've had Verizon and now Voicestream. With Verizon I could get service almost anywhere, no matter how remote.
I switched to Voicestream b/c I wanted GSM. The coverage area is smaller but the clarity is unparalleled. I have a european Siemens S40 phone, which is much clearer than the Nokia I had before, and with GSM I can use it overseas with the same phone number. So I,m happy for now.
I also hear AT&T is good, but a bit overpriced for the amount of minutes they give you.
