....that there is about one new member signing up every day?  I got in just a few weeks ago and the group was still in double digits.  Good stuff  

Well here's the real question.  Do you think it's possible to post a few of the tricks of the site?  

I still don't know how to do a lot of things here.  I'd love to post a picture over to the left above my quote but don't know how.  I'm also starting to do some small mods and would love to post some pictures in the threads, as I get them done.  Someday I'd even like to get a nice sig.  

Now maybe everyone else knows how do this stuff and I'm just stuck on the little yellow bus, but I bet there are a couple of others out there who would like to learn a few of these things as well.

Could a few of you experts either post on this or maybe for the long term there should be some write up of how to do things.  Maybe in the tech section.  

What do you think?  And please don't tell me I need to get off the bus. ;D

I think the traffic is great, just wish this forum was running on my own server.  But we are working on that...

tricks : Well luckily there are a bunch of cool icons just above to change color, size, links, almost everything..  Makes it real easy, I suggest playing around with them..

also at the very top, there is a help icon, which can answer most your questions

but for images and quotes, every thing works like this..

everythings works in [] [/]      So what you do is put quote in there or img

[/img]  <-- no link so an X appears

To add a image(avatar) below your screename you need to go to your profile. In there you will see a spot to enter the web address of where your "giff" is, or you can pick one of the ones from the library. you'll see what I mean.  Also, you can change the size of this "avatar".  There are 2 numbers there. I think default is 65 x 65.  Also, you can add a sig. You'll see in your profile at the bottom there is a spot to add your sig. It can be just text, or and image like some of these guys.  But that image must be on the net.

As for pictures, these must be on the web using some site to host the pics, or if you have your own website, this is easier.  There is no image upload feature like Audiworld or Audizine.  But I have found that pictures in your image library from audizine.com can be used here.  But not images from the "pic poster" on Audiworld.  
I'm probably forgeting something or not explaining something right, so anyone else want to chime in if I missed something.

Is there a size limitation on the "avatar"  

The picture thing and the sig is easy but it just won't take anything for the "avatar"  I've got it pointed in the right direction (AZ) and when I go to update the profile I get zip.

Anyways, the view from the little yellow bus is great, we just passed S4Madman on Storrow Drive.  Me and the other "challenged" kids mooned him.
